How to get there

The venue is located in the center of the city, it is a ten minute walk from Plaça de Catalunya and the Ramblas. Two metro lines (L1 and L2) stop at the university square, as well as several bus lines.

Barcelona Sants train station is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute ride on the metro away. This train station is served by the AVE high-speed train service between Barcelona and Madrid, with a journey time of 2h 40mins. It also hosts other RENFE-run Spanish train services, as well as trains from the French SNCF-run TGV high-speed network. This provides a 6h 28mins journey time from Paris to Barcelona. The station is the main hub in Barcelona for regional and suburban train services, and it is linked to other public transport services too. Next door is the main regional bus terminal for inter-city routes. The metro station is also part of the complex, providing links to the rest of the city’s network.

A train line also connects the airport with the city center (Passeig de Gràcia stop) in less than 30 minutes, with a regularity every 30 minutes. From there, the university is a 14 minute walk away. In addition, the Aerobus (an express bus line) makes the journey from downtown Barcelona (Plaça Catalunya) to the Barcelona airport, and vice versa, every 5 minutes (from 06:40 to 21:55h).

More details on travel to Barcelona and the public transport system will become available shortly.
