On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the EMS, the Meteorological Service of Catalonia and the Government of Catalonia are hosting a celebration in the beautiful premises of the Palau Reial de Pedralbes.

The celebration (or "festa" in Catalan language) will take place on Wednesday, 4 September 2024 at 20:00 and will include demonstrations of the Catalan culture, music, and cuisine that will make a unique event for all the participants. A free shuttle bus service is planned to connect the conference venue to the Palau Reial de Pedralbes.

You can book your place when registering for the EMS Annual Meeting 2024 by checking the box for this event.

The “festa” is free of charge; however, the number of participants is limited due to the venue's capacity. For this reason, please consider that:

• Registration for this event will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
• You should only book your place for the festa if you are sure that you will be in Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
• Once in Barcelona, everyone who has registered can collect their accreditation ticket at the booth of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia.
• If you have successfully registered for the festa but change your mind later on, please cancel your booking by sending an email to ems2024.meteocat@gencat.cat.

Details on the shuttle bus service will be provided later on this website, as well as at the booth of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia located at the conference venue.
